The Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang Province recently unveiled the list of the first batch of Zhejiang Provincial Single Champion Enterprises in Manufacturing. Five enterprises have been successfully selected, namely Huawei Spring Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Dunan Thermal Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Fengqiu CRI Pump Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Wan'an Technology Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Weihuan Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
The flagship products of the five selected companies are ultra-high-strength lightweight suspension springs, high-efficiency finned tube heat exchangers, high-efficiency energy-saving submersible sewage pumps, commercial Electronic Braking Systems (EBS) and computerized hosiery knitting machines respectively. Having devoted years to their respective segmented niches, these enterprises take technological innovation as the core driving force, continuously advance product iteration and process upgrading, hold numerous independent intellectual property rights and core invention patents, and take the lead in drafting and participating in the formulation of industrial standards. All of them maintain a leading position nationwide and even globally. As a key domestic enterprise in the automotive spring sector, Huawei Spring Co., Ltd. focuses on the R&D and production of high-quality suspension springs with top-tier domestic technologies. Its self-developed water-quenched spring steel wire production process delivers solid support for national key basic components.
In recent years, centering on corporate innovation and development, our city has continuously improved the tiered cultivation system for enterprises, ramped up policy support, optimized service guarantees, encouraged enterprises to concentrate on segmented sectors, boosted R&D investment, enhanced core competitiveness and market share, and fostered high-quality enterprises for further growth.
Up to now, the city has cultivated 5 national-level Single Champion Enterprises in Manufacturing, 5 provincial-level Single Champion Enterprises in Manufacturing and 8 provincial-level Single Champion Cultivation Enterprises in Manufacturing, ranking among the top in Shaoxing.
It is understood that the provincial-level Single Champion Enterprise in Manufacturing is a newly added accreditation tier built on the existing system of national-level Single Champion Enterprises and provincial-level Single Champion Cultivation Enterprises. It refers to benchmark enterprises that have long focused on specific segmented manufacturing fields, possess internationally leading production technologies and craftsmanship, and hold a top market share of a single product (productive service) within the industry.
